Saturday June 22^nd from 11am-1pm pure breds ands mutts alike will take to the green grass atop the hill at Royal Farms Farm Market and Winery to show off their stuff.  The competition will all be in fun and for a good cause but boosts some great prizes.  There will be several categories to register your dog in such as; dog/ owner look alike, largest, smallest, best dressed, etc.  There will also be a grand prize package, which includes a $300 cash value from Dre Photography for your pup and a Bon Bons Pet Salon spa package, and a bandana from Bark Bling
 
Registration by June 11^th assures you a Mutt Strut T-shirt and doggie bag filled with doggie treats and valuable coupons but registrations will be taken up to the day of the strut. 
 
Emma McGuire has been an animal lover her whole life but recently became a first time dog owner and feels passionate about providing this opportunity to others.  “I would like to make sure that those in need of a dog, service, therapy, or emotional support have the means to have one. Maybe they need help with the training or initial vet costs.  And then of course I want to be sure that dogs in need find what they need, a home!  That’s where the Cherryland Humane Society comes in…we need to keep matching dogs to owners!”  Stated McGuire.  Emma decided that her parent’s farm was the perfect venue for a fun event that celebrates dogs with their families all while raising money for a great cause.  “I really hope that people will come out with their dogs and participate or just come and watch the fun!” 
 
Also on site Dre Photography will be offering free fun mini wine themed photo sessions for your pups, Royal Farms will offer concessions including wine and hard cider, and Cherryland Humane Society will be on site…maybe even with a furry friend looking for a home!
