Music House Museum: Guitarists Matthew Cochran & Matthew McAllister

Scottish guitarist Matthew McAllister and American guitarist/composer Matthew Cochran enjoyed critically acclaimed solo careers well before forming a duo. The pair quickly established themselves as a significant new voice in the guitar world through unique, accessible programming and warm, easygoing onstage rapport. The Duo's latest album, Pale Blue Dot, has garnered rave reviews and includes compositions by Matthew Cochran, Hans Zimmer, and jazz icons Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, and Ralph Towner. Cochran & McAllister are on tour from June through November 2025, performing at concert series and festivals including the Guitar Foundation of America, The Classical Guitar Retreat (Scotland), and the Nürtingen International Guitar Festival (Germany)
