Description

A Land Bank Authority is a county organization that is available to serve as a tool for developing and preserving permanently affordable housing.
Join us in-person to hear from Emily Doerr, Executive Director of the State Land Bank Authority of Michigan, Jane MacKenzie from the Northern Homes Community Land Trust and Jon Stimson from Homestretch Nonprofit Development Corporation.  You will learn about the evolution of land banks and how them can be used to create more workforce housing options, how a land trust tool can create new homeownership opportunities, and how Homestretch Nonprofit Development Corporation can be a partner for housing projects.
