Join us for a first glimpse of the Proposed Torch Lake Nature Preserve. GTRLC staff will lead participants on a short tour of the property highlighting the water resources and natural features that make this property crucial to protect. 

The Basics: 
Participants will hike 1 - 2 miles on rough, uneven terrain. As this is a new land protection opportunity, we will be exploring the property through the woods on proposed trail routes, rather than established trails. We will be parking along Robinson Rd and event signs will be posted on SE Torch Lake Dr. 

What should I bring? 
Sturdy, close toed shoes 
Consider bringing your binoculars or a camera 
Consider bringing a re-usable water bottle and some snacks 
Consider sunscreen or bug spray for your comfort
