Hay Stacking Challenge

The AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary of Elk Rapids extends an invitation to all scholastic and athletic teams to form two-person teams to compete in their “Hay Stacking Challenge.” The top three winners will receive a $125, $75, $50 donation to the organization that they represent. This event will be held on October 15 at the Kewadin location at 10:30 a.m. and at Reining Liberty Ranch at 3:00 p.m. The goals of the competition are to donate money to a group in need in our local schools and to donate hay to Reining Liberty Ranch, a PTSD counseling facility for veterans. Parents and spectators are encouraged to attend and the American Legion food trailer will be on site with concessions and all participating teams will get free lunch.
