AMVETS Post 114 in Elk Rapids is organizing a golf outing to support:
D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans, Marquette MI;
Patriot Place, Gaylord MI;
NMC Student Veterans of America Chapter, Emergency Relief Fund, Traverse City, MI
These veterans’ organizations have been selected for their unique contributions to the welfare of veterans in northern Michigan. D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans provides dignified service and quality care in a homelike environment full of activity to former service members. Patriot Place is Northern Michigan’s only Veterans Transitional Housing Community for male veterans who are experiencing homelessness. The NMC Student Veterans of America Chapter’s mission is providing military veterans with the resources, support, and advocacy needed to achieve their academic goals, and gain meaningful employment.
