Free SCORE Workshop - Steps to Savvy Business Planning

TRAVERSE CITY - SCORE Traverse City's free workshop series continues Tuesday, Sept. 13, with "Steps to Savvy Business Planning."

Preparing a business plan is one of the first and most important steps in reaching goals as an entrepreneur. Workshop attendees will learn:

• Why a business plan is so important, especially if lending or other outside funding sources are involved
• What is included in a business plan
• How to begin preparing a business plan that meets your needs

The Sept. 13 workshop is scheduled for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Traverse Area District Library, 610 Woodmere, in the McGuire Community Room.
