This rare wild-foraged gin is transmogrified into a truly singular libation when rested on oak. The native botanicals mature into complex spiciness bridging the dichotomy between gin lovers…and everyone else.
The very first product in our Black Label series, Ferox Barrel Aged Gin, is a single cask spirit. We took one of the World's only 100% wild-foraged Gins, rested it on American oak for just under one year and what transpired was, simply superlative.
Familiarity gives way to bold new favors, yet the spirit pays subtle homage to its origins. Fragrance of sticky toffee, light cinnamon, and clove provide a flawless introduction to the rich mouthfeel. Robust flavor follows, featuring caramel, nutmeg, and a deeply satisfying peppercorn finish.
