Elk Rapids DDA to Host DDA 101 Workshop

Have you ever wondered just what it is the DDA does and why it's there? Join us Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 6:30 in the Government Center for a "DDA 101" workshop.

 

This open workshop will cover the basics of how Downtown Development Authorities work and are formed as well as specifics on how the Elk Rapids DDA is set up and what goals we are trying to meet. The workshop will be led by Amanda Baker, Downtown Development Coordinator with the Northern Lakes Economic Alliance. Everyone is invited to attend to learn about this arm of local government.
