Description
Our featured presentation will be a discussion about swimmer's itch. Susan Price, Project Manager of the Michigan Swimmer's Itch Partnership, Dr. Curtis Blankespoor, U of MI Biological Station, and Ron Reimin, Biologist, Freshwater Solutions, LLC will share the knowledge gained in a quest to find science-based solutions to this important issue that is all too common on many Northern Michigan lakes. Particular attention will be given to what the the MISIP is doing to monitor, assess, and control swimmer's itch and to answer your questions.
