Description
The Elk Rapids Area Historical Society invites the public to celebrate the publication of "45 in the PITS!"
Join us Sunday, June 24th 2:00 p.m. at the Great Lakes Packing Company, 6556 Quarterline Road. The plant is the actual setting of the book and is located ½ mile north of Kewadin.
This local history book chronicles Norm Veliquette's 45 year career in the cherry processing business. Many local families had members work at the plant with Norm. Quite a few are mentioned!

The book will be on sale and refreshments will be served.
